The restaurant is clean and offers excellent service, and everyone enjoyed their meal there. While it's not a place for a quick snack, I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a sit-down experience. It's a typical family restaurant, and my steak was cooked just the way I like it. The children's menu is for kids aged 9 and under, and they were very accommodating with the adjustments I needed for my dietar... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gin's On Canyon:
The waitress never came to check on us, so I didn’t get any refills. My burger came with two bottom buns for some reason and was quite greasy. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience. View all feedback.
Worst service of my life. We arrived at 10am for the Sunday lunch buffet which, as shown on their website and as they confirmed on the phone when we called, ends at 11:30. From the beginning of the service, the employees were impolite and condescending to us. When we arrived at the buffet, there was no more bacon or eggs wrapped in bacon, so we asked the waitress if they could bring some. About 20 minutes later, they brought some bacon, but it ran out very quickly, so there was no more when I went to the buffet. So I let the waitress know and asked if she could bring more, which she did. After 45 minutes, they still had not served the eggs wrapped in bacon, so I went to the manager to tell her about my insatisfaction and ask if she could bring it. She became angry, told me that there was no more food, that we had eaten everything and that they did not want to serve us anymore and said to me dryly to go sit down. It was 10:50. I replied that we were paying for a buffet which was supposed to continue for another 40 minutes and we were still hungry. She became even more angry and she accused me of having asked for bacon again when I had (according to her already had some (which in itself would have been totally correct considering that it is a BUFFET !! I was and still am shocked at the bad treatment we received. She then told my friend (who had informed her upon our arrival that one of the toilets was clogged that he was arrogant and that he could only have flushed the toilet himself !! Unbelievable. She then kicked us out, shouting at us, leaving us with no opportunity to discuss the situation normally like adults. LACK OF TOTAL PROFESSIONALISM. We obviously did not pay our bill after being attacked this way. I have worked in the service all my life and I have never seen clients being treated this way. During my 15 years of experience, I learned to apply some basic ethical rules such as: 1. Be respectful to customers. 2. Meet the customers' request. 3. Respect the opening hours. The employees of Gin's restaurant have no work ethic. We even met customers in the parking lot who witnessed the bad treatment we received and they were wordless too. In short, this experience has definitely been one of the worst of my life.
Everything about this place is really great. the most friendly and friendly staff who serve them incredible eating at a fantastic price. they have all classic things and more. their omelettes are delicious and their breakfast homeries are soou good. her coffee is also super delicious. I'm just impressed by this place hard to find everything we didn't like. everything was great, we'll be back soon!
Eating was really good service was brilliant that the waitress was alone when we arrived. could say she just came through the first round of her breakfast when we got in. when we got our food, the restaurant was packed again. She was sure to get out of her breakfast shift! this woman deserves a damn resurrection!
Service was ok and the coffee was good. But it was easily the worst breakfast of my life. Everything tasted day old at best. The bacon tasted like paper and had the consistency of leather. The sausages were soggy. I had the French toast as-well which tasted like it was microwaved from frozen. And the eggs were ‘scrambled’ yet somehow the outside was crispy and the inside was runny. I was a cook and sous chef for 8 years and I didn’t know this was possible. Don’t eat here if you have any sensory capacity.
The food is okay. Never great and usually not awful, just okay. The service on the other hand is very poor. This time, the bill was on the table before we had even finished our meal. The waitress was not friendly in any sense of the word; I was actually under the impression that she had no interest in being there. It's hard to enjoy a meal with service like that. Definitely not going back any time soon.
