My husband I both had the Grilled Chipotle Chicken Sandwich, and both of us thought it was great. I made a modification due to food allergies, and they handled it perfectly. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and obviously had her act together! As a former waitress, I know how hard she was working but she performed her job flawlessly. What Hollywood pizza doesn't like about Mc Gill's:
The staff was not very friendly. I'm not sure if it was because we were not locals or why they (both ladies behind the bar) had such a cold shoulder and came off short. Decent place with nice service. Forgot to take pics. Be warned Green chili was SPICY. Needs sour cream to calm down heat.
Torta is amazing. Biscuits are amazing. French toast /w compote amazing. If it's busy, be patient, the food is worth it.
Worth the wait! Kay was absolutely phenomenal (I didn’t see a name tag but that was who was on our bill). It was a bit hectic but service is great and very kind staff. We had mimosas, the haystack, salmon Benedict, and pancakes and they were all fantastic. Perfect portions, slightly smaller than normal diner sizes, so you’re only slightly stuffed instead of uncomfortably so. Mimosas are perfectly pale, borderline dangerous to have two. Always so nice to come here, looking forward to our next visit.
So crowded in summer. After a long wait to get a table, a long wait to order and a long wait to get our food, the server gave us our check and literally said, “ there’s a nice couple that’s been waiting a long time for your table.”
All American breakfast consists of extremely dry fried potatoes scattered across a plate plus poorly baked pancakes. An extra plate costs $3.50.
