Quite a busy restaurant we sat on the roadside tables which were a little loud with traffic. We chose one of the set menus which were quite reasonable but they lacked both quality and quantity. The lamb casserole was very tasty but the steak was...a tiny piece of meat with fat attached and very tough. Really pathetic.. A nice setting but not up to scratch as far as the food went. Working in Craon, the Grenier à Popote is a place not to be missed! It's our little pleasure. We regularly take takeaway due to lack of break time, and we are never disappointed! There is something for every taste. The meals are plentiful and excellent. The soups take us back to our childhood and the fish with white butter is killer. If you eat there, you will also be amazed. It's worth the detour !
