Yesterday, I went out for lunch and had a great time. I ordered fish and chips, while my companion chose the chef’s special gourmet beef and Gloucester pie with mash. The meal was only £15, which included a glass of wine and a pint of beer. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place! View all feedback.

The dining experience offers a reasonable price range of £30 to £40 per person. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming, earning just 2 stars. Excellant service, great real ale, good food well presented, sensible prices and great surroundings, what more could one ask for! To quote that well known phase or saying, 'I 'll give it 5 '.
Down from South. Been up to Newcastle last 3 days. Found this delightful pub. Food very good. Staff very friendly. Felt comfortable in my surroundings. Good mixture of age groups. Recommend.
Nice welcoming atmosphere upon arriving .. ordered scampi and chips twice.. was delivered to our table prompt..food was nice and hot and very tasty..staff were very friendly and accommodating..will definitely be returning..ps good value for money aswell ..I highly recommend this place Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
