I've been before and its been OKAAY. Today was definitely substandard. Ordered waffles because there were no pancakes (at 10.30). Waffles were dry, stale and overcooked. Supposed to come with maple syrup (i PAID for maple syrup) but in fact came with golden syrup. Over-priced (considerably) but underperformed- an unpleasant breakfast. Coffee was OK though. I have to say Bob Bert’s is a great cafe. Their breakfast menu is fantastic and a humble bacon soda is made extra special with tasty chutney. Lunch menu is equally good.
The employees are welcoming, beautiful and very helpful. café has a nice feeling, and there are many cakes. Unfortunately there are no gluten-free baked cakes, but there are ARE options.
Always a great place to lunch after a Saturday morning child football game. I love the halloumi loaded pommes.
