I have been going to Rosebud Cafe for about 25 years, but ever since the new owner took over, the quality has declined. I have noticed that some regular customers are now taking their business to other cafes on the same street. I cold damp day, so a roast chicken dinner, brimming with veg cannot be bettered anywhere. Just like an old fashioned Sunday lunch. Thank you Rosebud team.
Another visit to this cafe today, where a mushroom omelette with chips peas was served. A buttery omelette, just melted in my mouth, stacked full of mushrooms. Just beautiful.
A roast chicken dinner that was beautiful scrummy. Properly cooked. Not rushed just to fulfil an order. They delight in serving what they have spent time preparing. A light and well aired cafe, that is worth another visit.
I had a delivery today I had jacket potato with chilli con carne and salad and the chilli was to hot and there wasn't enough mince
... the staff here also really know how to look after their customers. I've ordered from here several times since my last review and the quality of both the food and service remains superb. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
