Arcea Gran Pelayo - Covadonga

I regret choosing this hotel.. not worth the price. The only positive thing is the convenient location and that it's pet friendly. Rooms are outdated and would need some refurbishment. Seems that the walls are made of paper as we could hear everything from the room next to us. I don't recommend Rooms: 1 Service: 3 Location: 5

The only good thing is that it is next to Covadonga and the starting point of the lakes. The breakfast is very fair and simple for a hotel that has 4 stars. The rooms are in need of an urgent renovation, since it is a throwback to the 90s. They are not soundproof, so you hear all the noise from those in the room next to yours, terrible. They are only half decent, the beds are hard and not very comfortable to sleep on.

We booked through Booking. The room was quiet (slight machine noise but not at night) and very clean. The dinner menu is 22 euros, starter main course dessert water and wine so unbeatable and above all very good for those who want to try Asturian cuisine. The staff is not necessarily friendly but we managed to make ourselves understood. The location is ideal for walking around and then taking the bus to the lakes. Please note there is no convenience store in the village.
