I'm a bit confused with the set up here. It is typically a wetherspoons house and as you would expect everything that is associated with the chain is right. However, there's always an however. You walk through the doors nice atmosphere and decor. People eating food, drinking as you would expect. A great place to hang around with friends. very busy and noisy to time, but still, great drinks and eating and beautiful place. always clean (except the tables,) very beautiful venue.
We love The Hat and Feathers, affectionately referred to as Fat Heather's. The food is good and the best value in town. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff and the range of beers unequalled anywhere around. The menu is good, but not overly adventurous. Toilets are spacious and kept very clean. My only criticism is that there is too much junk on tables and they need to be properly wiped with clean soapy water, not just sprayed and wiped. That said, l would not hesitate to recommend this venue.
Lovely atmosphere, not expensive but really nice drinks. Food is good and all if the staff are very friendly and helpful
Using the app made it quick and easy to order our food which was excellent. The one minute silence for the Queen was observed by all. My only criticism was the noise levels but that is not fault of the establishment.
