The food at this restaurant was excellent and could not be faulted, but the service from the staff was very poor. We began with the calamari and then had a meat lover's pizza with a Greek salad. The price we paid for both dishes was very reasonable and represented good value for money. However, the disappointing aspect of our meal was the attitude of the staff, who were rude and unenthusiastic. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Michel Angelo's:
The rooms are dull and lack any amenities. There were no toiletries provided and the room only had a wooden floor and a single tea bag. Michelangelo's is a bustling restaurant which is popular with locals and therefore has a lively, informal atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is great. It's not haute cuisine, but it doesn't pretend to be that either. Rather, it has a real authentic,...home cooked Italian style and is really tasty and, for the price, it is excellent value. The pizzas are super but the meat and fish dishes are equally good. Be sure to book as it can get quite busy.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times. The food is good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The happy hour menu offers good value, but I recommend trying something from the main menu for a pleasant surprise. The sea bass was delicious! I also enjoyed several Sunday roasts.
My wife and I accidentally came over the restaurant on a recent trip to the opposite and much to our pleasant surprise had a wonderful evening meal, good eating and friendly staff, definitely again.
