Rodeo Saloon Bbq - Council Bluffs

Last night, my friend and I visited this bar on the CB strip and had a great time, despite the country music playing. The bartenders were friendly, the drinks were inexpensive, and the place was clean. We played darts and skeeball for over an hour and enjoyed ourselves. Overall, we had a positive experience and would be happy to return.

I visited this restaurant with some friends at 1:30 for a drink, only to be told to finish our drinks quickly at 1:50 due to previous issues with the police. Things escalated when we mentioned we were in town for a funeral, as the bartender became aggressive and verbally abusive. The situation worsened when a local began pushing us out, despite another bartender trying to intervene. It's shocking that such behavior was allowed to occur. I urge others not to support this establishment, as they do not deserve any business.

I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon and it seemed like they had just opened. I was the only customer there. The bartender was friendly and served me a drink, but when I asked about food, she had to check if the kitchen was open. Eventually, someone reluctantly went into the kitchen and told me it may take a while because the ovens were likely not on. Since I was there early for an event and didn't mind waiting, I ordered ribs, fries, and the recommended Mac and Cheese. To my surprise, my food arrived quickly. The ribs were cold and heavily sauced, the fries were average, but the Mac and Cheese was enjoyable. Instead of sending back my food, I asked for a box to take it home and reheat it later. As the evening progressed, the restaurant became busy with an event happening outside. The overwhelmed bartender was left alone for over an hour, causing service to decline. The atmosphere was good initially, but as the night went on, the regular customers became increasingly unfriendly. An older man even vomited next to me at the bar, making the experience uncomfortable. Overall, it was a strange and disappointing visit, and I doubt I will return to this restaurant in the future.

TERRIBLE food.. TERRIBLE service.. The food is not even edible. Zero stars. Just keep driving.

Have had carry out food from there before and it was good, very good. Called today and was told the kitchen wasn't open. At 1:30 in the afternoon on a Friday?!?!? No where on their Facebook page or web site does it state that the kitchen is closed. Sorry, but won't be trying to call again.
