Fusion Sushi - Costa Mesa

Really not sure how this place got so many positive reviews unless I had it on an off day. The sashimi was really not good…cuts were sloppy and too thin, for some reason most of it was way too chewy (either the pieces of fish were bad or the chef possibly cut it against the grain), and the tuna pretty much disintegrated in the chopsticks as if it had just come out of the freezer.I could barely eat some of it with how chewy it was

Great place with incredibly attentive, enthusiastic, and diligent staff. Reasonably priced for good and tasty food in a nice area on Newport Beach. Highly recommend the Maki Special for about $40 if you're two people. This special comes with three roles of your choice. Great restaurant overall!Parking: Dedicated spot for the restaurant

Great Sushi rolls. Their spicy tuna rolls are hands down some of the best I’ve had. I will be coming back!

I heard about this place from one of my friends who is a sushi lover. Now this is my favorite place, and I absolutely recommend this if you want to eat authentic sushi. The owner knows what sushi is. He is so professional and never disappointed me. All the sushi and sashimi are so fresh and yummy. I ordered special ones for my family and kids, and they made wonderful plates. I recommend special from the owner and the owner's special sauce with salmon. I love his Yuja special sauce, and he made fresh mango with salmon for my son.We had a perfect dinner every visit with great food and fresh sushi. They are so kind and friendly. I love this place, and thanks for their services. I'll definitely come back again.
