Chuy's - Corpus Christi

Excellent ambience, food and service. If you are visiting corpus Christi with vegetarians in the crowd and wanna hit some known confident Mexican food, this one is a guaranteed experience..The fajita sizzler is a must have and there is a lot of tasty food in this dish. Chicken was nice and tender, cut into easily chewable slices. Vegetarian enchilada, burrito (veg kid size), chicken tortilla soup were all tasting real nice and fresh.. appetizer nacho was different but again tasted excellent.. you won't regret ordering both tres leches cake and churros bites as dessert. Ambience is awesome with palm tree models in the middle of the restaurant.. everything looked extremely clean and well maintained.. service was superb and our waitress was smart, had lot of patience to explain the dishes and helped us to order right.

I wasn't here long and I really don't know why. The food was very good, my husband got the Elvis Special and I got one of the specials. There was a lot of food. I liked the Tex Mex sauce on my enchiladas and the queen on an enchilada and on the chulupa was very good and I guess it wasn't used in a small cafeteria bowl to get a special in another restaurant in the city, it was in a small Arta taco like crispy bowl when I ask why it wasn't in this, I was said? The salsa was also very fresh. I took half of my lunch home, and our waiter Scout, who was very good, told us to try the GIANT Burritos next time. We have decided when we come back, we will share one. The beef taco was good, it did not break, and it even stood up as it had a flat ground. My only disappointment was that they don't have FLAN!!! Who cares about Tres Leches Cake I can get this at HEB

I love Chuy's!! The rice and beans are vegan, the guacamole is always delicious, and the Veggie Enchiladas, (only 86 of the cheese to Vegan, even w/ tomatillo sauce without acid cream) are my go-to!! This place seemed simply untouched? But when we sat, everything was great, especially our waitress!

Some of the best queso I've ever had and service was fantastic! We will definitely be going back. Different themed rooms was a neat environment and shirts for sale are on my wish list. The salsa was a bit spicy for me and I was more than accommodated. Excited to take my kids next time. The wall of celebrities dressed like Elvis put a smile on my face.

Ummm, so we came for the chips and salsa and that jalapeno ranch dip (I think that's what it's called ?‍. It was good and they refilled our chip basket without asking! ? We got our food and waited a good 8 minutes (est. before we were given silverware. No we didn't just sit and wait! We went up to the hostess stand and then she went to the back and then brought it out. ? So, yeah it was good and I know sometimes things happen but we literally were waiting for someone, ANYONE, to walk into the back room and they didn't for a bit. So 3 stars for now.
