While the warm service and cozy ambience impressed many, some found the décor a bit dated and the bar area lacking warmth. The food saw highs and lows: brilliant dishes like twice-baked soufflé and exceptional roast beef delighted many, but some were disheartened by unlisted ingredients in main courses. The menu's limited options raised eyebrows, yet the value and hospitality shown by the owners, Jill and Kevin, garnered praise. With outstanding breakfasts and a commitment to fresh ingredients, it remains a memorable culinary destination for many.
The roast dinner was fantastic and the staff were extremely friendly.
Outstanding dining experience with impeccable presentation. Delicious appetizers before each course, followed by expertly cooked and beautifully presented dishes. A must-visit for a special occasion.
Amazing cuisine, unique items for sale, an intriguing establishment. Reservations are a must.
Very special meal in a very pleasant atmosphere. A must place to visit!
Having booked a holiday in Ladock, we were excited to see that Kevin Viner had opened a restaurant in The Falmouth Arms, so booked Sunday lunch. We were placed in a delightful small dining room. Mrs Viner brought us dog treats and a bowl of water. The lunch was fabulous, the star turn for me was the twice baked soufflé, stunning. My wife’s bread and butter pudding was also fabulous. The beef and the pork were of the highest quality, and delicious. Thank you so much, we really enjoyed our lunch. Sadly for us you are taking a break or we would have been back.
