we called here Friday afternoon after a walk through the harbour. friendly, efficient service. nice choice on menu and not overpriced (for porthleven we had only a short snack for lunch, prima pasty and a beer. perfect on a cool afternoon in the januar. also for the personal is nothing too much annoyed. no wonder they were so busy. we loved it so much that we called again for a brew on Saturday afternoon. Food average, had worse but had much better. The staff very unwelcoming, when I approached till to place my order 3 women behind till all on phones and one said “I can’t be arsed serving today, can you” ? Is this the way to treat customers? The plates was greasy as was cutlery, the table cloths were very sticky I don’t understand why you’re using them? It made the place look tacky. Deco needs updating, looks very run... Beautiful caffe with magnificent views of the harbour. it is characterized by its menu of the majority of caffes in porthleven, yes there is the ubiquitous crab sandwich, but the menu has a little 'northern' feel it. ham, ice chips, sausage roll, chips. right comfort food that tastes delicious and delicious, although we did not eat this time. it also has many vegetarian and vegan options that are good to see. we had a coffee, but it was excellent. far beyond everything she expects outside a separate coffee shop. some critiken seem to suspect that the employees are not helpful or rude....they must have confused the place with somewhere else because our experience was nothing but positiw. after a decent coffee and good, honest eating, they try it here definitiw.
My favourite place for a quiet cup tee to enjoy in the beautiful view. also recommend their vegan lemon cake and hot chocolate cake!
We have been here several times, and eating is always fresh and tasty. the menu offers cake, sandwiches, warm food and breakfast all day! the personal is friendly and welcoming. it has a magnificent view over the harbour, with a beautiful location past some beautiful stands. dogs are also welcome! many thanks for a beautiful meal today afternoon
We had our breakfast here during our stay and enjoyed it so much we came back a second time. friendly and helpful staff. we have tasted the traditional and veggie cooked breakfast, bacon and sausage. very tasty, (especially the bacon) thanks!
