The food was amazing. I wasn’t expecting this level of taste and quality. The serving size was also more than I could finish. Overall amazing and definitely the best bang for your buck! Staff was very friendly. Thank you Koya Coquitlam!! View all feedback.
What KAAP doesn't like about Koya Japan:
Bland. Watch them make it. Veg goes on grill, next to a pinch of chicken, equivalent to that a chichen wing without the drumstick. No sauce on any of the grilling. A squirt of water cover and put on a bed of rice, smother with tasteless sauce.I generally don't add salt to my cooking, but this is bland, tasteless View all feedback.
10 bucks for Takoyaki...?Are you out of your mind!!?? ?
The staff was super friendly. It was dinner time and the skilled staff was able to quickly and efficiently process a lineup and make food simultaneously. Food was very well priced, with very good portions. The newly renovated food court was very nice too
I had the beef teriyaki and I enjoyed it. The vegetables were cooked nicely, the beef the sauce was very tasty, and their rice is good too. Their teriyaki has bean sprouts, and as someone who doesn't like bean sprouts normally, I ate this without complaint, so kudos for that! The price is also very reasonable; I believe for one person it was $12, and that's an excellent price, good value for money. 4/5
Great food and good service.Usually very fast service and the food is very hot and fresh... good portion for lunch.Location is easy to find (in the mall food court). The staff is very professional.
I really liked my veggie teriyaki, I just wish they used more sauce (there’s a few for asking for more teriyaki and there’s an additional fee for adding sriracha)The veggies are very fresh and they use lots of mushrooms. Really fresh and not too too oily, made very quickly.
