Was User at Cooks Landing Kiosk a mag?
It was as simple as fish and chips wrapped in paper, but it was executed so perfectly that it became truly wonderful. It might have been the best fish and chips we've ever had. The fish was freshly caught and easily flaked apart, accompanied by perfectly fried and salted chips. We enjoyed the sunset over the Pursuit River while sipping on a cool white wine. It was an unforgettable evening. View all feedback.

The best seafood in Cooktown! We dined here three times during our celebrations, and each visit was perfect. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. Highly recommended!

The Fish Burger is fresh locally caught fish in a burger with salad. Absolutely delicious. We got one bowl of chips to share. Enough for a family and really good.
Nestled along a charming jetty, this restaurant has quickly garnered a reputation for its incredible seafood, particularly its fish and chips, which diners hail as the best they've ever tasted. The menu features a delightful array of fresh, locally caught fish, with standout dishes like the Fish Burger, which comes loaded with salad. Guests rave about the generous portions, reasonable prices, and exceptional service. With a warm atmosphere and kid-friendly options, it’s a popular choice for both families and seafood enthusiasts alike. Just be mindful of the staff’s hygiene practices—an area for improvement in an otherwise stellar dining experience.

7 months travelling Australia and this place has the best fish and chips so far, not to mention the best value as well. Great friendly old fashioned service! Thank you darling : Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
It's not a marina in the usual sense, just a jetty where you can dock. Kid-friendliness: There are children's meals available. Service: Dine-in. Meal type: Lunch. Price per person: A$1–20. Recommended dish: Fish and chips.
I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for lunch, and I must say, the Coral Trout was cooked to perfection. The entire experience was excellent, with both the food and service receiving a top rating of 5. The atmosphere was also fantastic, making it an enjoyable place to eat. The price per person was quite reasonable, falling between A$20 and A$40. Overall, a delightful experience!
This is a lovely little spot located at the end of Cooktown. Note that they don't accept EFTPOS. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as 4 out of 5.

The best fish and chips you'll find anywhere! The freshness is unparalleled. The batter is light and crispy, reminiscent of tempura, while the fish is cooked to perfection inside. There's also a large fish sculpture on the roof near the waterfront.
When walking the esplanade, we decided to eat fish and chips for Lunch. SERVICE Prompt and friendly FOOD DRINK We ordered both fish battered chips and hamburgers with milkshakes. Based on some reviews on TripAdviser, we were worried the fish size was small. Was pleasantly surprised to see the serving size was adequate. Milkshakes were chooks and delicious. ATMOSPHERE You cannot beat waterfront views
The local council has invested time and resources wisely in this place. Great job!
Loved it here, very friendly people, things to do here, watch the Huge Queensland Groupers being fed, watch all the different fisher persons fishing of all ages. Recommend coming here.
Great place with excellent value for money, swift service, and welcoming staff. I would definitely return in an instant!
