Whole Hog Cafe Conway

I used to love coming here. But for near $20.00 I got this and a coke that tastes like sink water I do not believe I will be back. I figured maybe a little more meat. I understand inflation but dang. And the meat is Luke warm.

I give him five stars because I love the bbq, but that's not the reason I make a review. I ordered a sweater sandwich per usual anyway I found a little plastic wrapper in my chicken. Guess a little plastic doesn't hurt anyone? Make me a favor of cooks and servers check the food as if you would eat it.

Let me tell you. I had my daughter's wedding shower there, in the next room for events. Whole Hog is her favorite, so I decided to make her shower there. I saw it. The service was great. I couldn't have been happy anymore. I recommend them to everyone. Especially if you have an event or party. They stayed on their game. Thank you, Whole Hog. You rock!

If you 'd ever wandered what BBQ was like in Arkansas, don 't. I had high hopes given the sauce selection, however that 's where my disappointment started, and only got worse. The sliced brisket was more shaved and I 'm positive microwaved bologna slathered in liquid smoke would have had more flavor. I finally found some semblance of flavor after mixing all six sauces together which just added to my confusion of how they think serving two, yes two tiny ribs is ok as part of their two meat plate... which really didn 't matter as the bush 's baked beans stole the show, and that 's not supposed to be a compliment, but when canned beans are better than your cue something isn 't right. Quick update, due to owner response... I gave 3 stars out of pity because I know some amount of effort had to go into taking all aspects of flavor out of the meat, except the two little bites of ribs did show promise, and no I didn 't eat it all out of fear it would cause me to pull over midway through my road trip from Atlanta to OKC.. I mostly review bbq places , and pretty fairly I believe because I want restaurants to be successful.

I loved our visit throughout the hog cafe. I have half the ripp with fryed and fried okra. it was delicious. I really enjoyed their dry ruin. I think my wife who got the same thing would have preferred the other. I would recommend her ribs.
