Food was excellent. Service was lackadaisical. Waited 15 minutes in a low customer period and had to ask the hostess to send a waiter over. Could use some nice background music. Otherwise a very charming and pleasant experience. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Merchants Row:
Side salad consisted of a handful of lettuce thrown on my plate. No other vegetables, cheese or dressing. Service was non existent. We even had to flag down the manager to pay our bill after it was delivered to our table 15 minutes earlier. Definitely not the normal experience we generally have had here. View all feedback.

An amazing experience. We stayed at this lovely Inn while attending a graduation very convenient to Wellesley. We had a party of 7 and although Open table didn't show they could accommodate us, I made 2 reservations for 4 and 3. After speaking with the Maitre d he accommodated us offering the most ideal dining room area with a table for us all. The food was unexpectedly and surprisingly delicious. Our party sampled the steak, fish and chips, crab cakes, shrimp cocktail, mussels, cheese board, chicken pot pie, and pot roast. All were enjoyed and shared around the table. We enjoyed cocktails in the gentleman's pub before dinner and the service and drinks were well balanced, fairly priced, and served with a smile. After dinner sitting outside on the porch and side patios under the trees was a lovely way to wind up the evening. The atmosphere at Colonial Inn was serene and absolutely what you want from a New England experience. A great value and overall excellent stay.
Beautiful restaurant. Exceptional food and superior service. If you're ever in Concord and are looking for a place to eat, go to Merchants Row. You won't regret it. The smoked mozzarella and tomato basil ravioli is the best dish ever.
This is our 2nd time coming to Merchant's Row both after random trips to Orchard House. Although a super busy day (Sunday before the Boston marathon) and they were also doing a Ruck race right in Concord, they were still thankfully able to seat us without a reservation.I had the pot roast which was super yummy. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich of some kind and although it required several napkins he definitely enjoyed it.This is our go-to restaurant when we are in Concord.
