Tacos El Peladito - Concord

Absolutely, without a doubt, the best homemade Mexican food. I've tasted the Birria tacos all over the place, most are overrated, but this is the very best! The owners are the nicest people you're ever going to have the pleasure of meeting. Family owned and run. Clean and the service was really good (although we went off-peak), portions were also good (nobody left hungry), and the hot salsas were tasty.

Delicious food at a reasonable price. Service was slow, but if that means thr quality stays high, so be it! I had the mole chicken enchiladas and they were delicious!

We drove 40+ minutes to check them out. It was worth it. Bold flavors, impeccable service and reasonably priced. As authentic as it can be in these parts. Will visit at least once a week if they were closer. This place is a gem.

The was the best Mexican we?ve had so far! My hubby got the quesabirria plate and I got the chicken fajitas and we finished with chocolate flan for dessert. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back!
