Iron Thunder Saloon - Concord

This place is a little deceitful. It looks like a bikers bar during the day and night. It however is actually a great place to get some food for the entire family. The staff was friendly, the food was great, and the restaurant was really clean. If you go order the Buffalo Dip. It's amazing. And I'd you are into beer the Red Oak is a local brew and one of my new favorites. If you enjoy Fat Tire you'll enjoy that. It was me, my wife, and our 8month old daughter.

The wings are excellent! It was a bit of a wait but our waitress was literally the only one working and she killed it. Great job Brittany.

I was recommended this place by a local gas station attendant, so I decided to check it out. Iron Thunder is a local biker bar and grill with a relaxed atmosphere, which I really enjoyed. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and found $2 bottles of Budweiser—a great deal! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that both of the appetizers I wanted were unavailable, and my first dinner choice was also off the menu, which was a bit disappointing. However, my second choice was quite tasty. I ordered the Motoring Mac, which comes with your choice of meat piled on top of some fantastic homemade mac and cheese. Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to coming back to see if my first choices will be available next time.

My daughter wanted to try this place to sample their crabcakes, and we were not disappointed. They were quite delicious, featuring lump crab served with a remoulade sauce. The service was also very pleasant. We will definitely be returning.

This was our first time dining here, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waitress, Darah, was such a sweetheart—very kind and attentive. I appreciated her letting us know why they were out of crab dishes, as that’s exactly what I was hoping to try after reading some reviews. The shrimp appetizer was cooked a bit too long but had a great flavor. The flounder fish sandwich was a generous portion and fried perfectly; however, I personally would have liked a bit more seasoning in the batter. My boyfriend ordered the rib plate and enjoyed it as well. I will definitely give this place another chance because I’m really eager to try the crab dishes.
