Went for a quick local lunch. Homemade sausage roll and coconut curry soup. Wow. Bread served with the soup was so fresh and soup had all the right flavour. All for under 20 for 2. Great meal. Great value. All homemade and local. View all feedback.
What Ocie Johns doesn't like about Church Street Woodfire Bakery:
Almost always don't have what's posted on the menu. Just ordered food and did not get what I asked for- everytime I've come over the last 4 years its been like this.Disorganized staff never seem to know what's available or where common ingredients are like salt and pepper. Food is sub par for the price. View all feedback.
Visited Aug Evening around pm. Charmed by the atmosphere of pizza and delicious looking desserts BUT disappointed when I bought different types of squares and later found what I thought was chocolate crust was actually a BURNT to a crisp crust. Either...someone wasn't watching the timer or they neglected to clean the baking pans thoroughly between baking sessions. Please don't lose any future customers and check into this. Thank you

We have been meaning to go here for a long time, and today we finally did. After an afternoon of paddle boarding we stopped here for a late lunch. We each had a beer (they have Cumberland brewery on tap!) and we shared a pizza....More
Had some pastries tea and soup for lunch here on Saturday. Service was very poor. Had to ask again for tea we had already paid for then it was served without anything to put tea bag on. Most tables were dirty. I would return but only to buy and take food out. My pastry was very tasty and my Mother's soup was too so obviously they know what they are doing in the food department, just need a lot of help on the service side. Definitely a bakery and pizza takeout place trying to be a restaurant but not succeeding. Could definitely do better and would be wildly successful if they tried harder
