The restaurant was bustling throughout the day, and they offer plenty of seating both inside and outside. You place your order at the counter and pick up your drinks at another counter. When your pager buzzes, you go to the counter on the left to collect your food. The service was quite fast, and the meals were not only delicious but also affordable. What Gavin McCormick (Gav) doesn't like about High's Cafe Store:
To be clear, the food is outstanding, and the service is acceptable. However, when you place your order, there is a large plastic panel in front of you that makes it hard for the staff to hear what you're saying and for you to hear them as well. I would recommend either removing the panel or, to maintain health and safety standards, cutting holes in it. With that improvement, I would likely give it four stars. View all feedback.
We thought here was light and healthy food when we drove through Texas. it was a bit out of the way, but it was worth definitiw! everything was delicious and the staff was super friendly! I wish it would have been nicer outside because the terrace was super comfortable, but inside was pleasant and cute. the head of the cold windy weather was that the happy hour started early!
Truly my favourite place in the country hill. feel very happy that this place exists and grateful every time I have lunch here. only really wonderful. (pictured: crabcake, hummus plate, chicken salad sandwich supp,e of the day: black bean)
This place has unique eating tasty that they come for more. I recommend the blue moon salat. sooo good we don't forget the generous ones. if they are ever in the opposite, they must meet this place
The chicken pot pie w/mixed green salad is very good. The desserts are awesome. We took home an assortment, including gluten-free.
Everything about this place was great! The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable-we sat outside under the trees. The food was tasty and satisfying. The green chili chicken soup was very good and fresh. The grilled spiraled double dog with chow chow and acold draft beer will definitely have me coming back again. Loved it!
