Overall, I think this place has a very interesting menu that stands out among the other local African restaurants in Columbus. However, I thought the flavors were very reserved for African cuisine and there surprisngly wasn't any heat. Everything was quality: beef curry had a great consistency, chapati was rich and tasty, snapper was cooked very well, kale had a subtle but pretty excellent flavor. I just didn't get a... What Siku Heath doesn't like about Riziki Swahili Grill:
Delicious food at a cozy place. I love their sukuma. I ordered goar biryani, and the taste was great but had had tiny bone fragments, which could be dangerous. I laso enjoyed their tamarind juice. They do have great customer service. The place could use some uplifting, especially outside. View all feedback.
I am so happy I found this place! The food was delicious, the prices are reasonable, a variety of options, and you get a complete meal! This will be my go-to from now on!
Had an amazing lunch today. The owner explained what each dish was and how to properly eat it. I have never had African food before and definitely recommend it!

Everything was perfect! The staff is so kind and welcoming, and the food is delicious. We ordered the goat curry chapati with beans and the chicken curry ugali with greens, and four sambusas, and we loved everything. All delicious and flavorful and the portions were plentiful. Plus you have to order a ginger juice!! We met Riziki herself and told her about our experience with Tanzanian cuisine (my fiancé’s mom is the child of missionaries to Tanzania and she makes Tanzanian dishes often and she kindly offered us complimentary sambusas to take home : We will 100% go back.
Had dinner here with friends at their suggestion. Riziki is a fabulous hostess and chef. Everything was delicious from the fresh fruit drinks and sambusa appetizers to our array of dinner entrees. And if you like chai, make sure to order a cup as hers is exquisite.
