I ordered the spicy miso ramen and it was absolutely delicious. I wasn't a fan of the slurping Turtle at Easton, so when a coworker suggested this place to me, I wasn't sure what to expect. The chashu buns were good but not outstanding. However, the ramen was amazing. The bathrooms were also clean, which was a nice bonus. The only drawback is that the restaurant is small, so I had to wait 20 minutes for a seat at the... View all feedback.
What Kay Sorge doesn't like about Meshikou Ramen:
I’m not sure why this place has 4.7 stars. The ramen was gross it was actually so bad I ate one bite and did not take another one left the entire bowl. The broth has no flavor at all and way too too much of some oily substance used. The the meat doesn’t look fresh it looks like precooked package meat . Gross . My mom didn’t like her food either. A complete waste of 50$ I will never spend another dime here . View all feedback.
We had each of the three types of wings. Mango Habanero (right) was the right amount of spice. Wasn't too hot but it had a great kick and had the best flavor. The KFC wings (middle) were what I would consider a common soy sauce based Asian protein. Was very good and the sauce wasn't over powering. The salt and pepper wing was great, but nothing special. Overall what did it for me was the crispness of the wings. They were fried to perfection!
Currently the best local ramen restaurant here in Dublin! Even the design of the resto with its ramen countertops really lends to the charm.I've been to Japan several times and I've tried a couple of noodle shops there including the Michelin starred ones so I'd like to think I know good quality ramen when I've tried one and this checks the bill! Pretty near legit what you can expect from ? found in Japan and it even has the waiting queue lines lol (you'd most probably have to wait if you go during peak times but in my experience it was just 5min wait , totally worth it IMO).So spread the word. This place here is special.
Service was quick, polite, and very helpful! Absolutely loved my first experience cant wait to go back and try other dishes in the future. Only took 15 mins at lunch on a Tuesday for 3 appetizers. The K.F.C was so juicy flavorful. The pork buns were good but could have used some spice or another sauce. The buns were incredibly soft!!
Ramen and flavor were good?. No complaints just didn't get that wow factor for some reason so no 5 stars for me. Definitely will go again. I personally prefer Slurping Turtle ramen in easton but this place has a nice feel too it. None of the staff speak Japanese so I couldn't practice my にほんご?。
I was excited to try the curry corn and teriyaki baked beans, but the flavors didn't work and needed more seasoning. The salad dressing was enjoyable. The new Chinese takeout containers looked nice, but they were difficult to toss and didn't allow easy access to the sauce at the bottom. Parking was easy with plenty of free spaces in the strip mall/shopping center.
