I visited this location for the first time, and I have to say that the exterior looks a bit worn down. It wasn't very busy during my visit. My only complaint is that I ordered a four-scoop sampler, but I received flavors I didn't ask for. Other than that, I found their ice cream to be really good and very reasonably priced! The best ice cream shop in the area! They should definitely keep Grape on the menu all year long. It's a unique flavor from Youngstown that you won't find anywhere else.
Handel's has the best ice cream, at 9:15pm there were 20 people in line in front of me, but don't let the line scare you it goes pretty fast and, in my opinion, well worth it. I had a orange sherbert parfait, it was excellent. Also picked up a pint of butter pecan to keep in case I don't want to walk over. Good variety, most things are excellent. Love good fresh ice cream. If you go there enjoy it.
The best ice cream, hands down! It's always creamy and tastes amazing. I highly recommend the chocolate pecan flavor.

Stopped for ice cream last night. Was surprised we weren't the only ones there on a cold night. That's how good Handel's ice cream is. It doesn't matter what the temperature is, it's always time for Handel's.
