I feel like they have become better over the years, which I cannot say for a certain other frozen custard chain in the area. There are some ingredients that we always double to get the amount we like, such as heath, but for the most part the prices and sizes are really decent. The Custard is much better than Andy's View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Randy's Frozen Custard:
Its not bad, but its super confusing since menu is huuuuge and way too many toppings. They should consolidate and make menu smaller and specialize in 20 good custards instead of 100. For this reason, I like to go to the next closest custard place. View all feedback.
Great custard! Drive thru service can be kind of slow but, worth the wait! Not much seating (outside only) but perfect place to stop an grab a concrete. I love the chocolate with peanut butter and Reese PB cups!
Good custard. Randy's is a decent custard option in Columbia. It doesn't seem as rich as Andy's but a bit better than Culver's. It doesn't have indoor seating so keep that in mind!
YUM!!! My boyfriend and I are food junkies and we love trying new ice cream places. We had a great experience at Randy's- they have the smoothest, most delicious custard... with fun color-changing spoons! Great customer service and cheap price for the quality of the custard. A MUST TRY!
Decent Custard. Upon hearing that Randy's was around for a while I decided to give it a try and compare it to Andy's, Culvers, and Freddy's. Well, their custard hear is about on the same level as the fast food places. I went through the drive through and ordered a mint chocolate chip custard. I asked for a lid since I was in the car and was soon on my way. One thing to note is that you're probably better off without the lid. For starters, they already overflow the cup with custard, then stick the spoon in, and finally the lid. Well...the whole in the lid is too small for the spoon so you once again have to remove the lid which then makes a mess along with the now overflowing container the custard came it. The custard was also way thinner and more melted than any other custard I've had. Melted custard is kind of gross. It curbed my sweet tooth and is close to home, but if I want really good custard I will stick to Andy's from now on.
...put Randy’s at the top of your list—just for the nostalgia factor, if not for the value and the sheer deliciousness of the Ozark Turtle.
