Be sure to try the lamb and kadahi chicken—both are excellent! We ordered the lamb kebab, chicken kebab, chicken kikka, and kadahi chicken, and all of them were fantastic. The highlight was definitely the lamb kebab, which was tender and juicy. The kadahi chicken had a nice spicy kick to it. They also provided a generous portion of four local breads. I would highly recommend this place! View all feedback.
What Hilal Bacha doesn't like about Mimi's Kabob:
We ordered the kabuki pulao, but it was cold, not fresh, and didn't taste like authentic kabali pulao. However, we also had the chicken kabob, which was good and delicious. View all feedback.
Excellent kabobs! Love chicken, cafta, lamb best. The rice is also great. The place is clean and comfortable.
Great place!. I live near this place and go there quite frequently. I would put her food up against Maiwand Kabob any day. She has a large Afghan and American menu. Pizza and sandwiches are also available. The pizza is really good and much better than Pudgies, around the corner.
Great Food. The dough for the pizza is spectacular. It's my family's new favorite. The Chicken Curry is wonderful as well.
Splendid. The food at Mimi's Kabob is wonderful. it is the best comfort food around. Very friendly and family oriented restaurant. If you want real authentic afghan food then Mimi's is the place to be. The restaurant is also spotless very clean.
Wonderful Afghan Bistro. I fell in love with Helmand in Baltimore, but it's so hard to get to. Mimi's gave me food that is just as wonderful and easier to get to! Better than other local kabob places, the food is delicious. They serve halal meat and also do catering. Entrees run from $8.50 for chicken kabob to $12.50 for combo plates like lamb and chicken, etc. Plenty of vegetarian items also.
