This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat in Columbia. I have never had a bad experience. Service is excellent, food is phenomenal, and the chocolate caramel souffle is ridiculous. I love the fact that they have the 3 course meal for $29 whichincludes appetizer, entree, and dessert. View all feedback.
What steven campbell doesn't like about Cellar On Greene:
Went with another couple and the meals were 50/50. The fish was great. The lobster pasta was undercooked and had no taste and seemed like they forgot the lobster and any kind of sauce. Both couples had the same two meals and the same experience with thefish and pasta. The cheesecake was really great, the chocolate and pb bread pudding not so much. For the price, it should allbe great, not 50/50. View all feedback.
Wonderful evening and the 3 for $29 is a great value. Excellent wine list, creative and well executed food items, and a friendly and educated staff make for a great date spot. Thanks to Jessica, Joanna and the rest of Cellar's staff for a delicious date night for our anniversary.
Casual non pretentious atmosphere. They have an excellent, rotating wine selection. The food is consistently good and the menu changes werkly. The servers can help pair wine with food. Want to taste a new wine? Just ask!
Wow, what a great meal! This tiny wine bar in Five Points must have a seriously good (and inventive) chef heading the kitchen. My wife and I both got the $27 three course meal, and were uniformly impressed. My meal started with seared yellowfin tuna nachos, a unique take on nachos balanced well with a tasty green tomato salsa and cilantro sour cream. Following this was a Tuscan chicken duo, a chicken sausage and breaded cutlet that were very nice, although they were eclipsed by the extraordinary collard greens. Easily the best I 've ever had! For dessert, I had a South Carolina blackberry crumble, which was very good and not overly sweet. My wife called her meal the best she 's ever had . She started with a seasonal salad of mixed greens, strawberries, and honey-thyme vinaigrette, followed by a mustard pork tenderloin which was impossibly tender and flavorful. Her dessert was seared pound cake, which was stellar! Definitely don 't sleep on this place, it 's worth your time (and the difficulty of parking in the area). I hope they have many years of success!

Small, quaint, and intimate. I have been looking for a decent wine spot in this city and I am happy to learn that I have found one! WINE LOVER FRIENDLY. Not a huge selection of foods on the menu but the available options are tasty. Snacks and desserts are offered but the main focus feels like it’s on the wine. The bartender definitely knows her stuff and was able to accurately recommend two different wines based off my palate and preference. I got a Skillet Seared Cab Flat Iron Steak (medium) and the Dark Chocolate-Caramel Soufflé. The entry and dessert were more delicious than they look… if this is even possible.
