The food was delicious and the service was great. If you like large portions, this might not be the place for you. But if you value quality over quantity, definitely give it a try. I had the 6 oz filet mignon and it was served with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Of course they had other cuts in larger portions, but the 6 oz was just right for me. If the prices seem a little steep, I'd say it's worth the cost. View all feedback.
What Rosendo Reynolds doesn't like about Bonny And Read Fresh Seafood Fine Steaks:
For the price you pay this restaurant should celebrate guest birthdays. Perhaps with a complimentary dessert or appetizer. I told our waitress that it was my daughter 's 11th birthday today and she then responded, Oh, we don 't really sing or embarrass you here on your birthday...but..happy birthday! Our bill was $158.50 Last year I came here on my birthday and they compt a free dessert of my choice. What happened? I... View all feedback.
The food was ok. Clam chowder was greasy and had no flavor. Bacon was too hard. I ordered the Salmon and again no flavor just very blah and very small. Coconut shrimp had no flavor. My alcohol beverage tasted like water and pepper, there was so much ice I couldnât taste the alcohol. My husbands steak had a lot of fat and tasted like it was baked . Nice experience but wonât be back. I felt like we were sitting on top of each other. Place is too small and everyone can hear your conversation. Staff was nice
Excellent personal service, cocktails and main course. can't ask for more. almost $200 inclusive tipp, but worth it.
Excellent good quality seafood. the menu is limited, but still my favorite restaurant in the springs.
First time eating here. Service was great, no complaints there. Appetizers were delish as well. Where I think they fell short was the main course. Wife and I both ordered filets (Mine being Bonny style). Mine was cooked to the right temperature. My wifeâs was definitely undercooked (med-rare vs. med). What we discovered was the filets were chewy versus melt in your mouth. I would expect more from a dish that was almost $50 and the particular cut of meat. We will not likely return as we know of places to get better steaks. We did not try the fish though they did have some dishes that could be tasty.
Went to Bonnie and Reeds for my wifeâs birthday. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. Desert was exceptional. Booths are spacious and well kept. Slightly noisy with some weird artwork. Wait staff was friendly, attentive and respectful. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely come back!
