El Portón de Antaño - Colombia

We went there twice to have their chicken soup. It is delicious. The staffs are very friendly. The cappuccino isn't good and it is just hot chocolate. The next day I just ordered diet coke.

Terrible fish... impossible to eat. The fish was over fried with a lot of oil. The cazuela had small pieces of chorizo also over fried. Definitely not recommended!!

The burger looks better on the menu than in your plate and the taste was a little strange. We think it comes from meat, but not safe. The juice was not the best we had, but for 3500 pesos it is not so bad.

The only good in this place is the location. The service was bad and rude, our waiter obviously didn't want us there. I had to convince the waiter to give me an additional license so that my husband and I could share the bandeja paisa. Before we left, he cleaned up our table and took my husband half full of beer and held his finger in it. We had to draw his attention to bringing it back, although his dirty finger had already been put in the bottleneck at this point. He didn't even offer to bring a new one and hardly apologize. The food was ok, you can not really screw up the bandeja paisa, although I am not very impressed by aromas.

Terrible experience. We both ordered the sea bass after we had eaten the sea bass for a few minutes, as we were so hungry, we discovered half the fish uncooked. We called the waiter who took our plates, not even we got an apology. Ten minutes later, the waiter seemed to say that they cook more, at this point we said no, we didn't want it. He asked if we were paying, we said no. The plates then appeared on our table, but we stressed again that we did not eat it. When we got up to leave the waiter who had chased us on the street, we asked to pay them because we had eaten some of the dish before we realized that it was not cooked, we refused. He didn't give up and always asked for money. We returned to the restaurant with him to watch the menu/prices and paid only for the 2 waters and 2 beers we ordered. There was no excuse here, too. Terrible service, I would avoid at all costs.
