This food stall offers goat-meat dishes, with variation within the Javanese style of servings. Basically it is the grilled meat with soy sauce, which is dubbed as satay or “sate” in the local language. Sauted version of satay with spices, broth and some vegetables, sauted is named “tongseng.” Another version of the Surakarta style of meat curry is “gule” with a thick coconut broth or “tengkleng” with a lighter spiced broth. The taste of this food stall is well kept, the meat tender and price is affordable. Not a five star for me, but it is well.
