Montana's - Collingwood

I came in for lunch with my girlfriend and her service dog, she got chicken strips and I got the burrito bowl. The portions were honestly underwhelming as I finished the burrito bowl before half of my drink was gone that I ordered when we first sat down. That was fine I just dealt with it but after getting up to leave, a man and a big golden retriever service dog with NONE of the proper equipment (no vest, improper lead) walked in. We made space for him to walk by but his dog lunged at ours and really scared my girlfriend and her dog, the man barely tried to pull the dog away and eventually my GF just left because she was overwhelmed I told the man to train his dog properly, have proper equipment and be more considerate to others, his group of about 5 people then hurled profanity at me and told me to watch my mouth (in a threatening manner) That 's when a male manager came over and rudely told me to leave for causing problems when I just ate there, tipped his server and had no issues. I was severely disappointed by how he handled the situation and I will not be returning or recommending this location again. I 'd rather drive an extra 20 minutes to go to barrie location.

Great server good food . Definitely will be coming back . Our waitress Melissa made our night . Made suggestions what to eat and very happy with her suggestions. Hopefully when we come back she will be there to serve us again.

Upon entering the restaurant, the scowling hostess reluctantly showed us to our table and advised that our waitress would be with us shortly. She disappeared never to be seen again and after 20-minutes without having our waitress make an appearance despite us attempting to get the attention of the staff located at the back of the restaurant. We left. I stopped at the bar where the manager resided and advised him of our negative experience.

My husband I had the Mon. Chicken wing special. Enjoyed the crispy coating on the chicken. Also we shared a Caesar salad which was fresh, the cheese was tasty. We had a good waitress. Will return. Although my husband walks slowly with a cane, there were many empty booths seats at tables, we were given a booth at the far end of the restaurant by the busy entrance into the kitchen. The Manager rushed pass us many times but never stopped to ask about our meal.

We did takeout but it was literally 3 minutes from our place and we still had to microwave the food, even after waiting for a few minutes for them to complete our order.
