Having recently relocated from Alaska, I've set out on a journey to discover the best dining spots in College Station. Among the many excellent choices, I can confidently say that C&J's ranks in my top five. My first taste was a delicious turkey leg at Chili Fest earlier this year, and I've been hooked ever since. The ribs, chicken, mac salad, and smoked sausage are all incredible—I just can't get enough! The portion... View all feedback.
What Javon Reinger doesn't like about C&j Barbeque:
there near 18 o'clock. they had neither brisket nor hay. they said it would be 45 minutes before these foods are available. how can they call themselves grill restaurant if most popular food is not available for dinner? the first and last time we will go back there. View all feedback.
Went there close to 6pm. They had no brisket nor chicken. Was told it would be 45 minutes before those foods would be available. How can they call themselves barbecue restaurant when most popular food is not available at dinner time?!?? First and last timewe will ever go there again.
Everything was great as always, but the macaroni salad was a letdown this time. It tasted different from what I remember, and the noodles seemed a day or two old, even though all the other ingredients were spot on. It was pretty disappointing, especially considering that the side of macaroni salad was $13 and not edible. It was even more frustrating since we spent $75 on our meal for two. I was really looking forward to enjoying that side. Other than that, the food was fantastic!
Excellent food and outstanding service! The ribs are so tender they almost fall off the bone. All the sides are served hot and fresh. Their cornbread is among the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place!

Everything was good as usual, but the macaroni salad just didn’t taste like it used to. The noodles seemed a bit old, as all the other ingredients were perfectly fresh. It was quite disappointing, especially since the macaroni salad was $13 and virtually inedible. Overall, we spent $75 on our meal for two, so I was really looking forward to a special experience.
