Yew Tree - Colchester

Beautiful pub restaurant inside and outside. excellent selection of food and drinks and good quality. we both had a signature roast that was absolutely delicious and that is the first place I've ever been to do right bratkartoffel! only negative about the roast I say that the engraving was too thin and not enough and the veg over boiled and like mush, but still edible with a nice taste and my slower roast pork do not come with the specified apple sauce! for dessert I chose the apple and blackberry crumb, but it was sadly sold out, so I had the apple crumb and it was nice, despite homemade, only something that left it down was the cripple, as there was hardly any. I had a few glasses of shiraz and although expensive it was delicious and I am happy to pay this amount for it! the staff was very happy, polite, attentive and helpful. we enjoyed our evening very much, we were not rushed and did not get the waiting time for our food. the atmosphere and the ambiente of the restaurant was wonderful. cannot wait to return. highly recommended.

Well what can I say, needs to improve in every respect. mostly the FOOD etc.
