I'm from Tennessee and was on a school trip in the area. A random place that was rated well and it ended my favorite meal of the trip. I had the Bisonburger and the cream cheese egg rolls. I couldn't have been happier either. The picture speaks for itself. If you're here, please do yourself a favor and order the egg rolls. Along with the sauce, it was one of the most delicious appetizers I've ever had. I'll long her... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sweet Lou's Tap House:
Wait staff were cordial and swift and the service was great. The food left more to be desired. We ordered a bison burger and a jalapeno burger. I wanted the jalapeno burger medium rare but it was overcooked and had no natural juice in it. View all feedback.
This is a great location and a great space. There are many variations on the menu. Everyone loved his ducks, especially the fish and chips. Parking is plentiful and easy. The service was sufficient but work a little slow at times in view of the number of servers. The prices are about what you expect. I will definitely eat again here.
Waiting staff were warm and fast and the service was great. The food left more to wish. We ordered a Bisonburger and a Jalapenoburger. I wanted the jalapeno Burger medium rare, but it was overcooked and had no natural juice in it.

I ate at Sweet Lou?s in Coeur d?Alene for the first time on Monday, April 25. 2022. I went for lunch with my wife, our two small children (5-year-old and 2-year-old), and my in-laws. It is in a cool spot and the restaurant is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The menu offers plenty of options, including a children?s menu. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer and they were large, crispy, and delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich. To be honest, my sandwich was a little dry and was simply average. French fries didn?t seem to be cooked to perfection. Also, it took a long time to get both our appetizer and entrees. For Monday lunch, I would have thought we would have been served in a prompter manner. Sweet Lou?s has a lot going for it but I wasn?t impressed with the food or service. The next time we visit CDA we will most likely go somewhere else.
