Huge servings. Fresh ingredients. Something for everyone. We go back at least once a month. There's a few tables and chairs to eat there, but we live close by so we get take out. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Fussy Burger:
The food was bland, the overall experience was lackluster, and the prices were high. The burger was smothered in sauce, the meat was chewy, and it was almost tasteless. Additionally, it was poorly put together. View all feedback.

The four of us were very hungry at that moment, so we ordered the family fussy (contains two big burgers and two mini burgers, two large fries and four drinks). In the package we only have the chicken and beef burgers, so we didn't try other variety. The burgers are delicious and good size, fries are crunchy and not too salty as fastfood restaurant. We then ordered one full rack of pork ribs and it was awesome. The downside is just the location near by Cockburn Central, which was disaster for people with cars. We had to park so far away from the place because no such parking spot available.
It seems Hamburgers/Burgers are the in thing now, as there are many "Burger Placess" offering their gourmet spin on burger selections (eg. Grill'd, Jus Burger, Missy Moos, Shortorder, Flipside, & Johnny's....the best of them all!). So any new players have to contend with the tried and tested.Unfortunately, Fussy Burgers are well behind the pace and quality of the aforementioned (IMO: Johnny's is far superior than all others - the burger patties are delicious, and their creations are brilliant and sooo tasty!!! THEY ROCK!!). This joint (definitely not a restaurant, or even close) is badly presented with tacky wooden tables and uncomfortable stools/seating, as if they had been placed just to fill the ordering area. (With a small alfresco area.) It feels more like a takeaway lunch bar you'd find within your local industrial area, than a gourmet Burger shop. On our arrival, the large drinks fridge was not working - though they did have drinks in a back fridge, it just adds to the feeling that this is a slap together business possibly trying to cash in on the Burger Buzz of recent. (The "Out of Order" side just scrawled on a paper bag and sticky taped to the unit!)They are located adjacent to Cockburn Central train station, so for pedestrians/commuters it's easy to gain access, but for those who drive....what a nightmare to find a place to park (parking restrictions apply for this area during daytime....2 hours or 15minutes depending on what time you are visiting) and traffic congestions afterwards too. (Again dependent on what time of day you go....avoid peak hours +/- 1 hour.)They have a wide selection of burger combinations along with ribs and sides (menu available online). Ordering is simple, and (in our instance) was conducted by the cook...the only problem, they didn't have any Pork Belly - so some choices were not available. If you intend on stamping your mark in this genre of food, the last thing you want is not to have all your ingredients (Pork Belly features in their Triple BLT and Grand Carnivore...the specialties!!!). I wanted the Triple BLT especially because of the Pork Belly ingredient and was disappointed that it was not available on a Thursday evening (5:00pm), so it hadn't all been used up on previous orders as dinner service had yet to really start! Between two of us we order fairly standard burgers - as to gauge the quality in comparison to the other competitors. Both burgers were well stacked, held together simply by a kitchen knife (no fancy skewers here) and ingredients contained between a smallish gourmet bun - which was woefully inadequate to cope with the fillings. My burger was supposed to be flavoured with Aioli and a house relish.....which was a surprise to me when I read the menu after eating, thinking how tasteless it was. These sauce additions must be sparsely applied. My friend had the "Killer" BBQ sauce, which he simply thought was unpleasant with a strange taste. We both agreed that the Cape Grim (Tasmania) beef patty resembled a meatloaf rather than a burger patty - which should have a certain percentage of fine fat to give the patty it's juiciness and additional flavouring. It was borderline chewy (but not gristle) and, in my opinion, should have been sourced from Harvey (here in WA) as like the Plantagenet Shire Pork & Chicken (Mt. Barker = is in this shire). Regardless, it was not the best hamburger patty we've tried....but better than the junk they serve at McDonald's / Burger King (aka Hungry Jacks in WA).Overall, we both thought it was a disappointing experience in all aspects- shop presentation & location, quality & price of food, and access by vehicle. I won't be returning unless by some coincidence, nor would I recommend anyone going out of their way...however, if you catch/exit the train at this station this could be an option....but Grill'd is just a short walk over the main road into the shopping centre area (and they win over this place by a considerable margin).NB: I'd be surprised if they survive for any length of time, but I do not wish bad upon them so I hope they can survive and improve.
I don't understand why they are called "fussy burgers," because they are actually the exact opposite of fussy in a positive way.
This is the place where delicious burgers have evolved into gourmet creations, with upscale ingredients like lettuce, heirloom tomatoes, and unique sauces and relishes taking over traditional burger joints.
