Driving into Cockatoo is stunning...Finding this gem was ideal. First impressions of this small town cafe were exactly how they should be. Friendly, inviting service. We stumbled upon 'Brunch on McBride' on a late Thursday morning and we were blown away by the amazing meal we had! The owners, Paul and Elise, are warm and friendly and run this charming cafe. Everything on the menu is made from scratch and you can see the natural colors of the food as soon as you walk in. We loved the smashed avocado (highly recommend!) and the almond coffee was absolutely delicious. If you're in the Cockatoo area, make sure to stop by this local gem - you won't be disappointed! We've definitely found our go-to spot for when we want to treat ourselves <3.
Thanks Elise, Paul and Chloe, the coffee has always been excellent but today we had the ham cheese and onion impossible quiches for breaky .... simply amazing and so light
Extremely friendly little cafe you are made welcome as soon as you enter. All food is home made and delicious. Vegetarian & GF available. Coffee great. Grandkids love the milkshakes.
Loved everything about this place if I could give you more than stars I would. A must for anybody who goes through the area.
The coffee was good, the white chocolate cheesecake was divine and the scones were freshly baked (hot form the oven!). We'll certainly be going back. There aren't too many places these days that bake everything on the premises as they do here.
