Daybreak - Cobourg

Just consistently good breakfasts, but in this location, even better service.

Don't really know what I was expecting when I came.

Great, Great, Great! Went on a Friday morning with a few friendsService was really quick, waitress was super nice and easy to talk to.

Came in just after they opened and I was the only one there. It didn't take me long to place my order but the cook didn't even start cooking my eggs till 20 minutes later and I was watching him looking at his cell phone and texting in between cooking my breakfast. So annoying! I couldn't even get his attention to express how I felt and it was clear he couldn't have cared less about the only customer in the place. My waitress was pleasant, food was ok and the home fries were fantastic!! Little deep fried nuggets that were crispy. Cobourg needs to have all day breakfast restaurants open later then 3pm.

We went on a Sunday morning and they were very busy. The waitress took a little longer than expected to take our order but the chef made up for it with lightning fast delivery of our meal. Breakfast was fine. Nothing spectacular but who wants that for breakfast. Eggs toast and ham were all cooked perfectly. Second waitress reported to work while we eating. All in all a good breakfast spot. Reduced prices during the week.
