We visited Cluny for the day and decided to have lunch at this restaurant in the main square. We arrived before 12.00 and had a coffee whilst the staff busily prepared for the anticipated lunch rush. The choice from the menu was good and we were easily able to select something to meet our tastes. What JAKUMMER doesn't like about Brasserie du Nord:
Terrible!The most important reason is that I felt very unwelcone at the very first beginning. All the very young) waiters are extremly in a hurry I suppose due to bad managment) and with every question I had the feeling I was annoying them. The food is ok but not more than that. View all feedback.
Incredibly slow service and then presented with a bill that had two extra glasses of wine and other drink... no hint of an apology as the staff seemed more interested in accusing each other! Low point in an otherwise beautiful and friendly place to visit!!

We had lunch on a very hot day, out of the sun. Good food, efficiently served. Helpful staff. We enjoyed it so much we had dinner there too. Surprisingly good value when you consider the location.
Traditional cuisine, good products and good reception. reasonable prices. Very well for family lunch.
On our guided tour of the abbey, we stop in this brewery for lunch. The setting is beautiful: on the terrace facing the entrance of the abbey. The staff is welcoming, available. We opt for the dish of the day at €9.80: grilled crook with crushed potatoes and salad. The dish was so copious that I had trouble finishing my plate. The decoration is modern and pleasant.
