We eat Mexican food 2-4x a week, being a gringo I like all kinds of Mexican foodWe live in Clovis and rotate from a few restaurants.

This food taste like it came from a dead rats butthole which by then an old alley cat ate, then the cat shat it all out then It turned into el rodeo's

My wife and I did not want to disappoint a quiet, low-quality Mexican culinary experience El Rodeo Méxican Restaurant. We went on Sunday at 6:00. They were open and there were only a few other tables occupied. I had the Chili Colorado and my wife ordered a ground beef taco with a cup of Albondigas soup. The Chili Colorado had only enough spices to not exaggerate the beef. Beef was tender and rice and beans authentic. I had a filled beer and the price was reasonable.

The food was great, lunch specialties were very affordable. Chips and salsa were fresh. Service was also great. The waitress was very helpful. I definitely go back.
