If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would. Rich visited our apartment complex in Cloverdale and generously donated delicious turkeys to our residents. This thoughtful gesture has truly made the holiday season more enjoyable for everyone. A little kindness can make a big difference. Thank you, Rich. With gratitude, the Senior Citizen Residents. What Kathie s doesn't like about Keith's Firehouse Bbq Ribs:
We stopped in and my hubby had the Firehouse the Waitress said it's our best seller well for $17.95 what a joke. I could have fed a 4 person family for that. It came with a spoonful of pulled pork a hot link cut in half and a spoon full of veggies on a huge roll smothered in sauce. And to spend $2.00 shy of $40 for Lunch WOW I had a Blue Cheese Burger with Soogie French Fries and if i was lucky to have a teaspoon of... View all feedback.
The service is wonderful..great breakfast ..nice crispy chicken wings yummy ..let's support them when you can.. really hard workers...Cloverdale Rocks..
I eat here 3 to 4 times a week. The eggs are perfect, Kieth cooks me perfect over MEDIUM eggs every time. Only place that gets it right and I reLly appreciate A well cooked egg. On Friday he makes srimp n grits. I love it! I lived in Oakland and my favorite food was grits and anything. My family goes there often for dinner and we enjoy it together. Any restaurant that 1st opens and has the kind of crowds the this place created has its ups and downs and they had theirs for sure. We need to support our locals so please if you have had any problems please try Kieths again. They are worth the 2nd shot!! 100% Soil King Approved!
I hate to give any restaurant a bad review but this place is not a BBQ place. It's more like a bad diner. My friend had the brisket sandwich. The brisket was dry and tough with no seasoning at all. I had the pastrami sandwich with fried zucchini. The zucchini was very good! The pastrami sandwich was just dry and kind of hard. Not much flavor. It seems like the meat is grilled, not barbecued. A properly barbecued brisket is so tender, it practically falls apart when you bite into it. I was also disappointed to find that they offered no chicken dishes at all. I really hope they can turn it around. It would be a shame to see them go out of business. Cloverdale needs more places to eat. I like my kitchen clean so I eat out!
As with most places I try I wanted to give this place a few tries before passing any judgement. They are new after all and I wanted to try them at their best.. Unfortunately the more we came the worse it got. The first couple of times we came my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts, they where tasty enough and very reasonably priced. We then came back a few months later and found that the food was not at all the same. The quality went down, the previously fluffy pancakes where now very doughy and unappetizing and prices had changed. When inquiring about the change I discovered that the restaurant had changed ownership. Alright, maybe this was just a new ownership hiccup? Let's give them another shot. Enter our breakfast this morning.. They had a new menu at this point and I opted to give the pancakes another shot. After all the menu did state that breakfast items came with a side of potatoes and toast, yum! When our breakfasts arrived there was toast (I had asked for sourdough but no potatoes? I asked our waitress about this and was told that she would have to ask if they came with our meal, but she didn't think so. Wait what? I pointed out that the menu stated that the pancakes came with a side of potatoes and toast. She came back and confirmed that our breakfasts did not in fact come with either toast or potatoes, and that it was a mistake on their menu that they had yet to fix. So I get to pay for the toast and potatoes that the menu stated came with my meal..great. If this was a mistake on your menu that you knew about, I would have greatly appreciated a warning when ordering the food..sorry but the one slice of toast was not worth the $2.25 extra you charged for it(nor where the 2 pancakes alone worth $7.25! . Overall I was very disappointed in this meal, as well as the fact that they left their menus as they are when there is a very misleading mistake right at the top. Then to top it all off not offering any kind of resolution when I pointed out the confusion. I've given this place enough chances at this point, I doubt I will be returning any time soon, if at all.
If you are thinking about trying this place out, just don't. My advice is don't waste your money, they were out of half the things on their menu. We ordered steak well done and it came out pink in the middle, the BBQ sauce is almost flavorless. The breadding on the onion rings and the fried zucchini was terrible. The waiter however was fast and friendly enough.
