I actually get occasional cravings for our Christie?s wedding cake. After our tasting, they were thorough in helping us refine our selection. On our big day in July we received nothing but compliments on the light and fluffy lemon cake with raspberry mousse and vanilla custard filling. My husband and I have even talked about ordering the same exact combo for our next special occasion! The cake was beautiful and a total hit, however oddly it appeared a little lopsided in almost every photo, including the professional images. We did not notice it in person but this makes me think that maybe there was a slight issue with the construction. Perhaps this was an exception and not the norm. Otherwise the naked icing was nicely done and the consistency and flavor divine. Conveniently, Christie?s works with Greens Beans florist next door, simplifying our choice to have flowers on each tier. We had nothing but positive interactions with Cat and the rest of the staff and can?t wait to try some of their other goodies.

All around great experience!! New England Clam Chowder absolutely delicious...perfect texture and loaded with large clams. Roast Beef Panini was incredible!! The perfect combination of hot rare roast beef, melted sharp cheddar, caramelized onions, crunchy toasted sour dough and hint of horseradish. Followed up with a great cup of hot coffee and chocolate chunk cookie (best I have had locally in a long time). I brought home a few cupcakes, lemon bar and peanut butter square for the family to enjoy as well. Excellent service, clean, casual, relaxed atmosphere.

I used to go all the time to Christie's for our baked goods and cake. Two years ago right before COVID, I ordered a cake for my son's bday. Normally I go and talk to the baker and we come up with a design. This time the owner picked up and asked that I just tell her what I wanted so I told her mincraft theme and even emailed a few pictures to the bakery. Well I was busy getting ready for a trip and I guess I missed their call. My mom went to pick up the cake a week after that missed call and it was white and completely BLANK!! Like who in the world would want a blank cake. I told her mine craft themed. I even said maybe make a mine craft pig. And they gave my mom a white blank cake. My mom said this couldn't be what my daughter ordered. So they took forever and put a quick minecraft pig on the cake and charged my mom for it. The owner was just terrible. I sent her the email. I showed her my sent box. I am unsure if she had a high spam filter or what but who in their right mind would make a white blank cake for a kids bday party. She could have at least made it festive with something or did something with minecraft. She should have made sure I talked to the baker/designer instead of thinking she could handle this difficult task. I even called after the incident, confirmed the email address, and sent emails on the call to test, that for some reason she didn't receive them again. She offered no money back or discount on the next order. I know it was my one bad experience but it was very bad. No one apologized, and they charged for the fondant small pig they made, my mom was late and stressed, my youngest son starting acting up while my mom was waiting for the pig, and my son whos birthday it was, was disappointed. So if you do decide to go, I haven't been since but when I went, the cakes are good, they can make nice designs, but make sure you speak with the cake designer because you are taking a BIG chance if you don't. Went there on 6/22/22 to inquire about ordering some treats for my guests for Saturday, 6/25/22. Had high hopes for this place but woman at the counter was just angry. She was straight nasty. Asked about possibly having something prepared for Saturday, she raises her arms and rudely tells me ?yeah it?s too late for that.? I get it, too late, but be pleasant about it. Then I asked about their allergies and she shrugs and goes ?I don?t know what you?re talking about.? Super rude. I walked in there feeling good but then immediately treated like garbage. Definitely never walking in that place again. I live in town and will rather drive 10 mins to Flemington or Lebanon. Also, they?re over priced.

Ordered a cake for my parent's 50th Anniversary from Christie's. Staff was great at helping me place my order. The cake came out beautifully and tasted excellent! Thank you!
