Let me preface this by saying, the food here is always great. I always get exactly what I ask for every single time. I love eating here. However. When I was served by Kevin he made a comment which I found to be inappropriate. I don’t think any customer has to be questioned on how much food they want to eat. What S doesn't like about Allwood Diner:
We usually go in to Allwood Diner for family breakfast and everything from service, food and ambiance is decent very old school, lots of elderly. Last time we went, I wanted to try something new and went for AVOCADO TOAST BIG MISTAKE…what came out was literally a couple pieces of diced avocado on toast not even mashed, no lime, nothing like what was described in the menu. This is our favorite diner in the area. The food is always fresh and the prices are great for all the food you get. Many of the dishes not typically found at a diner are really flavorful and cooked to perfection. Denis and staff are always accommodating and on many occasions have gone out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. We have never been disappointed in the food or atmosphere.
Truly a gem in Clifton. My family goes there all the time. Never had a bad meal. Fresh food and down home hospitality. The only place to be after the Clifton Fireworks Display!xoxoxo
Great food and service!! Would recommend highly...sometimes it gets crowded, but worth the wait.
