What Jimmie Yundt doesn't like about Le Charles:
Tasteful lunch but disappointment on the quantity served especially when the plates of the nearby tables are more garnished! charming service but too masculine. The names of the dishes offered on the menu should be more refined to reflect the quality of the plate. For making other application restaurants, we get out with the feeling that we paid a little for this meal. View all feedback.
We had a nice meal! we were a whole class together with our professor. we started with the amuse beech and it was delicious and eating has become better than we thought in our meal. the starter was very good, the main course was great, and the dessert fasste together as a fantastic way to finish our meal. the service team was really good for beginners. chef christophe emery has chased with it and as usual was mr. ma excellent at what he does and managed the space a living place and kept everyone happy.
We had lunch with the tanks. all the dishes, from amusement to dessert, were very good. a flat on the beef seasoning: it was too peppery. the strawberry millefeuilles was good, but a little too copyy, with cream whipped and pastry, strawberries, raspberries and mint. A good recipe. the cocktail offered in aperitif (surcharge) was good, unalcoholic and very fresh. The service is still a little clumsy, but they are students. We waited a lot to have a carafe of water and the beef too peppery is thirsty. In the end we put 1h30, it's a little long yet for a lunch. the value ratio is good too. weak point: the women's toilets that contain surprises. but this is not the fault of the students but very certainly uncivilized users.

We had a lovely meal! We were a whole class along with our professor. We started with the amuse-bouche and it was tasty. And the food just got better as we proceeded in our meal. The starter was very good, the main course was great, and the dessert summed up as a FANTASTIC way to end our meal. The service team was really good for beginners. Chef Christophe Emery nailed with this. And as usual, Mr. MA was outstanding at what he does, managing the room a lively place and keeping everyone happy.
