I decided to try this restaurant for brunch based on the reviews. The food portions were generous, but the steak was lacking in flavor. We had to ask multiple times for utensils as there were none provided. Despite only having 4 people in our group, we were automatically charged an 18 percent gratuity. The service was not up to par. While I don't mind the gratuity, the menu clearly stated it was only required for parties of 6 or more.
The food at this restaurant is delicious. I ordered the chicken jibarito and it was excellent. The prices are also very reasonable. I will definitely be returning in the future!
Horrible customer service!! Went there 2 days in a row (work lunch outing) and they got the order incorrect both times. Called and spoke to someone about the order being incorrect under and she was not professional! She stated she would have the owner contact me. The owner reached out to me after I called back to see why I didn't get a callback from the owner. The principal of the whole matter is that you spend your money and you get the quality and what you ordered in return. After going back and forth and her calling me 3 different times she then wanted to honor of remaking the mistake of everything right. It should not have taken 3 calls to honor what was right. After telling me how mad her staff was of the her (owner's) decision why would I want her staff to remake anything for me. I have been going to this establishment for YEARS and after yesterday will not be back.
One of my favorite restaurants to get lunch from in Cleveland! The food is so good, the staff is kind, and you get a great deal on the quantity of food for the prices. I recommend the jibarito, but you really can’t go wrong here.
