treated to this institution by my very dear son in law and daughter. first I was skeptical, the water glasses were dirty and our waitress wasn't the kindest. but then my sil has thrilled us with the most wonderful food! we have special tastes with special desires, as we wanted to prepare our meal. the waitress was patient, the cook was very committed to our desires. every dish we ordered was perfect! What Ava Robertson doesn't like about Anatolia Cafe:
My white bean salad was decent. The Hummus was kind of Is plain. I forget what those things are called that are made of chickpeas in the picture but they were just bla didn't really care for them. The beer suggestion was good. They don't have a lunch menu, prices high for what you get. View all feedback.
We stopped last minute to get a glass of wine and a fast snack. Beautiful atmosphere and would like to order more from the menu, but our visit was short I ordered Shepherd Salad with Feta cheese. It had many fresh tomatoes, cucumbers paprika dressed with a bright tasting olive oil Vinaiigrette dressing. I would definitely return and order more from their dinner menu
8/28/21 The first time here, came to lunch on Saturday, not busy at all. The menu is much smaller than I thought for such a place. We ordered the eggplant with Red Sauce appetizer, Filet Mignon Shish Kebab, Chicken Shish Kebab and Seafood Sauté (I think this is the name). Everything was great. The meat and seafood were cooked for perfection, yet tender, not at all boiled. But I don't know what happened to our server. She seemed new to serve?! She didn't write our order and messed up on two articles from everything we ordered. 1 app and 3 Entrees for 3 of us. First she gave us the wrong app, not a big deal. It didn't take long to get the right one because it's a cold appetizer. It wasn't like they had to cook it. But when our ducks came, they blew up and gave me a false chicken dish instead of what I ordered! She apologized. I waited for my meal while I saw the other people in my group eating their meals. When mine finally came, they were almost finished with her. It wasn't ideal.
Eating is very good, deserts look amazing, but I'm too busy watching my figure to try. If you are looking for a healthier place for lunch or dinner, this is the place. I also believe that for what you get the prices are very reasonable. Try the mix grill that comes well with chicken kabob, Lamb Kabob and Lamb Adana. My only complaint if it is one I wished they had a salad option that was more of a Mediterranean style salad. Her Shepard's salad is more of tomatoes, onions and dressing mix, while bean salad sounds a bit the same. A fatoosh salad would also be welcome. That I love the food here, I suggest you try
The lamb adana was delicious as the appetizers we tried: liver cubes, cucumber salad, hummus. Large mixed drinks from the bar
Love the patio and service was great. Food was just ok but unfairly we compared to another Turkish restaurant Istanbul in Westlake. Portions smaller and somewhat bland. Mushrooms missing from my dish which I really looked forward to. We would visit if here in the area again. Worth a vist!
