Lilly's On The Lake - Clermont

This was our first time in Lilly at the lake. Full disclosure, we had heard from others in the past that the food was not so great, but we met Chef Shawn in the city and he invited us to come by and check that we were not disappointed. We arrived by boat and moved to the sandy beach (Make sure an anchor for bow and stern*. We sat outside looking for the water (time was about 645p . The view was beautiful and we didn't see the sun long after. I ordered the Cajun Pasta w/ Chicken; the Flavor was amazing! The blackened chicken was perfect and the sauce radiated with sturdy taste. My better half ordered the Parmesan garlic wing; she was very happy with her choice. We are happy to come back and try other selections. Shawn noticed that he worked on a Mango Habanero sauce for the YUM wings!

Okay. This is an important place to visit, but not for food. The bar is great BTW. The food is not so good. Appetizers are fine, but the location is beautiful. You can sit on the deck with friends and watch your kids swim in a designated safe area on the beach and enjoy a beautiful sunset from the water. You can swing in a chair under a huge oak tree and enjoy the view with a special person. It is located on foot to downtown Clermont. Really a fun place to go as long as you understand the food is just okay. The bar and bartender were also brilliant.

The food was absolutely desperate!! The image on the left was the seafood plate and the image on the right was the shrimp paste. This is my new favorite spot and I will definitely be very soon. You also have a bar. The beach place below is really nice. You need more choice.

There was lunch. The seafood plate was one of the best I ever had. Wife and I shared it. We also had nachos and they were good, but for the price it was underestimated. Very nice view and friendly staff.

Great location Fantastic view Over priced Poor food (seriously McD 's fish sandwich is better) Service they tried... but saying sorry over and over and over doesn 't cut it. $18 fish sandwich served as little chunks *the bun was good The fries were like bottom of the bag tiny pieces My companions food didn 't come out with mine (20 minutes later) and then was told we are out of avocados Sweet Tea was not sweet (thought Florida was part of the South) Never going back.
