Sole On The Green - Clemson

My mom, grandmother and I decided to dine with Solé after the football game on Saturday. We were greeted with a decent atmosphere with dark lighting. We decided to order the black and bleu burger, pulled pork sandwich with a salad/coleslaw and the chicken fiorentine with mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables. The burger had a small hair in it, was overcooked, dry and had no sauce and the fries were limp and soggy. The pulled pork was dry, burnt and had no flavor with a average vinegar based bbq sauce. In terms of the salad, the cucumbers were old and the coleslaw tasted spoiled. The chicken fiorentine was dry and had bland vegetables with mashed potatoes that were just okay. For dessert we got the triple chocolate cake which was dry, bland and tasted like it wasn’t made in house. We also got the key lime pie which had too much of a crust and not enough filling/not enough lime flavor. The server was okay but she brought cold, stale coffee which was frustrating. We asked to speak to a manager and one never came. My grandmother said if she could rate this restaurant she would give it a zero. She would like to come show the chefs how to make a real burger. However, I think only Gordon Ramsay himself could save this establishment. Price per person: $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Love the location! Love the Lemon droplove the golf course! Service is great wings sauces good.. Desert menu looked good! Too full for desert!
