The Tuesday meatball and spaghetti special was delicious!! Hefty helping of spaghetti and 2 large meatballs cut in half was enjoyed by all 4 of us! A nice salad with warm rolls completed the meal. Waitress was very efficient and friendly. Lots of pick up orders were going out while we enjoyed our dinner. View all feedback.
What Robert Savittieri doesn't like about City Nights Pizza:
Personnel, atmosphere, all good, very nice. Most of items are very good ie pizza subs. Menu is ala carte, so everthing is seperate. A dinner comes with whatever you order bread knots, salad extra, (expensive lettuce olives). Had Chic Fransese soup (see pic) had good flavor. If you like soggy breaded chicken then order, I don 't recommend it. Theirs is on left after moving pasta to get away from 'sauce ' Most other 's... View all feedback.
Really nice little restaurant. ... we had the fried zucchini and the portion was huge! The pizza is really tasty and the staff was friendly. Very clean too : I have definitely found a new place to order pizza from. We even brought home Lasagna for Pops and he is sitting at the table eating it right now and raving about it.
Our favorite Italian place in town! The pizza is incredible! Eddie makes the best ribeye hands down! Always great service and the owners are super friendly!! We love to support a family owned/run business
Was so excited when we saw they were moving to the neighborhood. They have not disappointed us. Thin crust pizza is great. Linguine and white clam sauce is amazing! Portions are generous to say the least. Hope they stay for a very long time!
I ordered shrimp parmesan and it was superb! Excellent sauce and 7 jumbo, jumbo shrimp in the dish. Then I ordered a specialty ice cream (spumoni surrounding a generous portion of cherries, then covered with a chocolate shell and a side of whipped cream) Definitely returning. I came home with enough for 2 more meals as the parm dish also came with a generous side of pasta. Casual relaxing atmosphere with a very friendly staff. Mrs. Pal Joey even called me Mrs. Presley as I admired the Elvis décor on one of the walls. Her and I have both been to Graceland. I saw him in concert, and when I was in 2nd grade, he was definitely the man I was going to marry!!! Definitely give this place a try!
Wonderful pizza! Just like it was at Pal Joeys on Forest Avenue on Staten Island. The crust was thin yet chewy, cheese was plentiful and sauce was not acidic with just the right amount on the pie. Not oily or too dry, just perfect! Can’t wait to try the rest of the other menu items!!!
