we had the rack of elk and wild boar with clams. sandi advised me that the elk did not taste like any other flesh and she was right. I had moose, caribou and venison and it didn't taste like any other. it had a slightly smoky and lean, gentle taste. the wild boar was slightly spicy and very good. very glad we tried the stovehouse. We ordered the rack of elk and wild boar alongside some clams. Sandi mentioned that elk has a unique flavor unlike any other meat, and she was absolutely right. I've tasted moose, caribou, and venison before, but the elk stood out with its slightly smoky, lean, and mild taste. The wild boar had a hint of spice and was truly delicious. I'm really glad we decided to try Stovehouse!
The view from the terrace is fantastic. While the prices for food are on the higher side, that's just part of the Suncadia experience. I'm eager to try the elk dish that was on the menu, but the waitress mentioned it takes about 45 minutes to prepare, and I didn't have enough time to wait for it.

Given the location, surrounded by millions of homes, I expected much better service.

I visited this restaurant for my 40th birthday, and I found the prices to be quite high for what you get. The food was fairly mediocre, despite the fantastic service from the waiter. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.
